Clams of Wisdom

To experience the vocal melange of the Clams of Wisdom is to engage in a blend of multiple harmonies, acoustic interpretations, and even some a capella magic. The Clams’ prism of sound refracts a spectrum of styles, mainly folk and country music, to a few pop tunes and whatever they feel like singing at the time. The Clams have performed in one form or another in Maryland, Virginia and New Hampshire at cafes, schools, community events.

A note to parents of our younger fans:
Although not specifically a “Kids Group,” we do seem to have some appeal to the younger demogographic purely because we’re so gosh darned silly, both in name and deed. Children, as we all know, more easily and un-self-conciously enjoy singing along. We love this, and that’s why we sometimes like to do our “family friendly” shows! However, we do get just as silly for our older and more sophisticated Clam Heads. Usually it’s like the Bugs Bunny cartoons and the adults get it, and it just goes over the heads of the young ones. It’s probably best to say that for our “family friendly” shows we are Rated G, and our web page and other shows are Rated PG or maybe PG-13.
